Porcelain Backed Marble
Marble porcelain backed tile is an alternative to solid stone tile. It is real marble with porcelain bonded onto the back side of the tile. Tiles come 12mm thick with a 3mm natural marble.
Advantages are:
- Can be used in more environments than full body stone
- Polished and honed finishes
- Tile weighs 50% less than the equivalent full body tile
- Easier to install
- Coloured adhesives don’t bleed through
- Considerably more cost effective than the equivalent full body Marble
